This is a tablet that if running Android 4.4 KitKat for the OS and comes in a nice big size. The ASUS TF0310C-A1-BK is less than $200 and comes with the Intel Atom quad core processor which makes it great for daily use and checking out your latest movies and videos. For the price its hard to say that you can go wrong. If you are looking for value dollar for dollar the power and performance you get seems to speak for itself. The Aton Z3745 processor from Intel helps to carry out the instructions for this slate and comes with 1.33GHz with Turbo Boost of up to 1.8GHz. This is great for surfing the web and doing some light work if you need to on the fly. With the 1GB RAM of DDR3L memory you will have quite enough computer memory to run you applications and operating system however if you have a lot of media files you may want about storage in the clouds to keep the device running smoothly.
With the 10.1 screen playing video games, watching movies, being able to check and write email as well as being connected socially is a breeze. The TF0310C-A1-BK Transformer Pad also comes with a touchscreen that has 10-point touch capabilities. The screen is LED-backlit with IPS technology and has a pretty decent viewing angles. The 170 degree viewing angles in combination with the 1280 x 800 max screen resolution makes navigation easy and viewing movies and games pleasurable. While the viewing could be better the Gen 7 LP graphics is enough for the average user. The 16GB of storage is more than enough to store you pictures, videos, and music but as stated before don’t put this slate into overdrive storing the max capacity as you will start to notice lag and slowness of the tablet.
When is comes to style and design this 10 inch ASUS Transformer Pad this tablet weighs in at just 2.4 pounds which makes it very portable and measures 10.1 x 7 x 0.80 inches and comes with a parts and labor warranty for one year. The design of this little machine features a solid black bezel that has a nice small company logo on the back of the cover. Its not the high end design that you may have seen but for the prices this Transformer Pad looks good. The TF0310C-A1-BK ASUS tablet come with both rear and front facing cameras. The front facing webcam comes with a mere .3MP and the rear camera is a 2.0MP camera. While you can surely take photos with this tablet if you need to we would suggest using something better if you have photos that you want to capture that are important. For the on the pictures this works and if you want to have a face to face chat on Skype or Tango the webcam is more than enough. For the sound quality there is much that is left to be desired. If you want a better sound going with headphones or external speakers is going to be your best bet.

So just who is the right person. Well the bottom line is that this 10″ Transformer Pad TF0310 for ASUS is right for a person who wants to give a gift to someone, is looking for a decent tablet for under $200, is not too concern with high quality speakers, and just needs something that is more portable than a laptop. If viewing movies, watching videos, listening to music and some light office work is all you are going to need then surely you can get it done with this slate. Again there are better devices on the market and for those willing to get something like a Chromebook you will still spend about the same price.
While this is not going to match the Nexus or iPad for the size display you are getting the TF0310C-A1-BK 10.1″ Tablet at a lower cost. If this is for a friend, second device or even just something for the kids to use it will more than get the job done. If you are however willing to spend a little more money check out the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. For about $399 you are going to get a good tablet, however you could also go with the iPad Mini Retina as well. There are a lot of options but remember you are going to get up something to get something. Maybe a better display for smaller screen size or better tablet at higher cost.
