NextbookUSA, one of the Electronic company that based on the California has expanded their Android line up with NextBook Premium NX007HD8G tablet. Comes with Dual Core processor and dual camera on the front and back cover, the NextBook NX007HD8G is the newest Netbook 7 inch inexpensive tablet that designed for entry level user and student that needs an affordable device for daily multimedia and entertainment tasks.

NextBook Premium NX007HD8G is a cheap tablet but it’s not look cheaply. Powered by Cortex A9 dual core processor that clocked around at 1.5GHZ and integrated 1GB of DDR3 RAM, this model promises will gives more than enough performance you need for daily multimedia and entertainment tasks, such as rich internet browsing, play modern Android games or streaming new movies from Netflix. Inside, there is a 8GB of onboard memory for multimedia storage. There is also a microSD Card on the side with support up to 32GB memory expanded.

Measures 7.59 x 0.37 x 4.77 inches (9.4 x 193 x 121.1 mm) and weighing around at 320.0 gram (1.6 pound), NextBook NX007HD8G 7 inch tablet also fells light and comfortable in your hand, even for children. For comparison, the Children’s Kurio 7S 96125 7 inch tablet has dimension in 11.02 x 7.87 x 3.15 inches and weighing around at 2.4 pounds. Unlike the common tablet from other brand that has a small company logo on the back cover, this model comes with silver plain back cover. Inside, this device also bundled with a 3000 mAh Lithium Ion battery that promises will gives up to 5 hours of battery life for light usage or around 4 hours for video playback.

Its boasts a 7 inch Capacitive Touch Screen Display with support a 1024 x 600 native resolution. The display uses Active Matrix TFT Color LCD technology, which mean you will get fairly crisp, brightness and natural color for watch low resolution video. Yeah, its not support for play High Resolution video, but you can share it into external HDTV, thanks to HDMI port that supports 1080p HD video playback. On the bottom of back cover, there is a standard stereo speaker that can produces fairly crisp and loud audio for music and videos.

Speaking of camera, the Premium NX007HD8G tablet brings lower configurations than the Kurio “Safe” tablet. On the front side, there is also a 0.3 megapixel camera allows user to keep in touch with friends via video communications, but on the front side, this model equipped with a 2.0 megapixel rear camera for photo and video recording, instead of 2.1 megapixel rear camera on the Kurio’s tablet.

Other specifications are micro USB 2.0 port to connect into external keyboard or computer, Accelerometer, 3.5mm audio jack and WiFi 802.11b/g/n provides a reliable wireless internet connection. Like common NextBook device, the NX007HD8G tablet also preloaded with Office Files viewer, Astro File Manager, Google Play Store, NOOK and Kobo Bookstore application, so you can download more paid eBook and read from your tablet.

For base configurations, this model will be preloaded with Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system. No word on updated to newer version, but we think it’s also will get update to Android 4.2 in the future. Yeah, this is not a high end multimedia tablet, but if the price is your big concern and only need a decent device for daily multimedia use, this is still a very responsive tablet and worth to buy it.
