Sony Vaio Fit SV-F1521V6EB with Intel Core i7 Processor Specs and Review

Are you in the market for a laptop that you can use for everything?  Sony already brought us the Sony VAIO Fit SVF15N14CXB convertible laptop but today we want to review the new Sony Vaio Fit SV-F1521V6EB.  This notebook comes with the Intel Core i7-3537U 2GHz processor.  If you are looking for that all around laptop with a nice 15 inch screen you might just want to read a little further.

The Vaio Fit SV-F1521V6EB is one of those notebooks that is capable of having a little of every thing that you can throw at it. Not only does this laptop from Sony look and feel good but it gets the job done when you need it most.  This is not the best notebook on the market in its class but for those who like the Vaio Fit you might be able to work with it.

This particular Sony Vaio Fit model is something that you can use to compete simple routine tasks as well as playing some of your PC games to keep you entertained.  The processor in this Vaio Fit SV-F1521V6EB from Sony is the before mentioned Intel Core i7-3537U dual core processor and is part of the older Ivy Bridge gen.

The Sony Vaio Fit SV-F1521V6EB would have been better suited and equipped had it come with the Haswell processor and we are not sure why the company chose not to go with it for this model.  However considering the price maybe they were looking to stay on the lower end of the pricing range.  The Core i7 processor comer with a processor speed of 2GHz and with Turbo Boost can be increased to 2.9GHz.

For storage on the Sony Vaio Fit SV you will find the Travelstar 5K1000 hard drive with 1TB of storage capacity and 5400 RPM.  Overall there is a lot of storage and however we would have expected SSD for the price of the particular Fit SV model.  The Intel HD Graphics 4000 and Nvidia GeForce FT are used for the graphics in the Vaio Fit SV-F1521V6EB.

Sony made sure to include a 15.5 glare-type screen that comes with 1366 x 768 screen resolution that seems to provide just average brightness.  If you are looking to use your laptop for professional image edition this is not your go to machine as it does not cover AdobeRGB or sRGB color spaces as well as it has prier viewing angles.  You could find similar wide viewing angles from cheaper laptops.  You can take the notebook outside but you will find that you need to adjust it to make sure you are in a proper position that makes viewing possible.

The Sony Vaio Fit SV-F1521V6EB with Intel Core i7 comes with front speakers that have some pretty decent sound but don’t bet on getting a lot of bass.  The laptop is also capable of playing most games but if you are really looking for heavy gaming the Acer Aspire V3-772G-9653 is going to be your machine especially if pricing is a concern.

If you are looking for a laptop that offers all around capabilities and for gaming and normal daily tasks this Sony Vaio Fit SV-F1521V6EB provides you with what you would need.  The computer comes with Blu-Ray burner, high storage capacity, decent gaming power and application performance.  It could be better with a lower price and the coming with the Haswell processor.  Higher resolution would also be good too and considering the price you might be better checking out some of the other laptops out there.
